DALLAS & COLLIN (WBAP/KLIF News) Property appraisals are skyrocketing in Dallas and Collin counties. Which sounds good, until your tax bill arrives. Evan Fetter is with “Lower My Texas Property Taxes.” He says customers are getting sticker shock with some increases at as much as 44%. You’re protected a bit if you have a homestead exemption, which caps your yearly increase at 10%.
