She Has A Nose For The Job

FLOWER MOUND (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) — The Flower Mound fire department is about to “officially” welcome a new member to the squad.

“Ziva” is a one-year-old black Labrador who’ll help with arson investigations.

Handler Jason Bolejack recently spent several weeks with her for training in New Hampshire. He says “Ziva” can assist in speeding up the process of detecting arson, which in the past could take days.

She’ll join the Flower Mound fire department Thursday with her badge pinning ceremony.
