Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Voters Look at Bond Package in Local Election

GRAPEVINE (WBAP/KLIF) – Voters in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District are being asked to sign off on a $249-million bond package to make upgrades throughout the district.

GCISD’s Rick Hadley says the biggest part of the package is the rebuilding of Cannon Elementary School.

“That is the oldest school in the district. It has been there since the late 1950s and over the past few years it has had a myriad of foundation problems,” said Hadley.

The package also calls for new security cameras and upgrading high school performance systems.

Voters go to the polls on Saturday.
