(WBAP/KLIF News) – Texas Governor Greg Abbott is throwing his support behind the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
Abbott appeared on CNBC and said Hillary Clinton’s policies would hurt the Texas economy. “Whether it be on financial issues such as regulating the energy industry or international issues such as ISIS or the immigration system. I know that Hillary is far worse for America than Donald Trump would be.”
Abbott had endorsed Ted Cruz, but now says the Republican Party needs to unite behind Trump. “I may or may not agree with everything Donald Trump stands for. I didn’t agree with everything Mitt Romney or John McCain stood for,” said Abbott.
