Pastor: Gender is Assigned by God

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The pastor of First Baptist Church in Dallas is the most recent public figure to speak out about allowing transgender people to use the bathroom of their choice.

Speaking on the Conservative radio show “Washington Watch,” Robert Jeffress commended Texas leaders for standing up against the Obama Administration on the issue.

A directive from the White House told school districts to let students use the restroom that corresponds with their gender identity.

Jeffress said he’s cloning a new motto: Don’t mess with Texas bathrooms. He added that “gender is something that is assigned by God.”
