Arochi’s Lawyers Push for Change of Venue

PLANO (WBAP/KLIF News) – A judge is expected to decide by Friday whether the kidnapping trial of Enrqiue Arochi will be moved out of Collin County.

Defense attorneys have asked for a change of venue, citing too much negative publicity.

Arochi, 26, is charged in the disappearance of Christina Morris.

She was last seen with Arochi at the Shops at Legacy in Plano in Aug. 2014.

Morris’ body hasn’t been found.

Arochi’s trial is scheduled to begin in early September.
