ORLANDO (WBAP/KLIF News) We are learning more about the state of mind of Orlando shooter, Omar Mateen. Gary Lavergne is an expert on mass murders and an author of books on the topic, such as “A Sniper in the Tower.” He says Mateen’s proclaimed terror affiliations may just have been for attention. Lavergne says Mateen is self-centered, like all other mass murderers, in that the attention he was getting was not enough to satisfy him.
