Ft. Worth (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Fort Worth Fire Department is asking for help finding the person who set fire to a school in the Crowley ISD before dawn Monday morning.

Surveillance video may have captured the arsonist’s face. Investigators say someone broke into Meadow Creek Elementary School around 3:50 Monday morning.

Arson investigators say the person set fire to supplies and books in a classroom. The fire damaged the classroom and several surrounding rooms.

No one was hurt, and the building’s sprinkler system contained the blaze. Investigators hope someone will recognize the suspect.

No one was hurt and the district is still working to estimate the amount of damage.

CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction.
