DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A veteran employee at the Dallas county sheriff’s department is accused of stealing a cadet’s handgun.
Katenia Johnson formerly served as a clerk at the training academy. She’s accused of taking the pistol and then selling it at a pawn shop.
Now she’s facing a felony theft charge.
An internal affairs investigation is underway. It’s unclear if Johnson is still employed by the county.
