Abbott Makes Call to Respond by Making City and State Stronger

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas Governor Greg Abbott says we must respond to this challenge to make Dallas and Texas even stronger.

“We are so proud, even in our mourning today, of the men and women who wear the uniform,” said Abbott alongside Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings at Dallas City Hall Friday afternoon.

Governor Abbott ordered state flags to be flown at half staff.

President Barack Obama, who is scheduling a trip to Dallas early next week, has ordered the US flag to be lowered across the country as well.
