Grapevine (WBAP/KLIF) – An off-duty Grapevine firefighter has drowned at Grapevine Lake. 30 year old James McKenzie and a friend jumped into the lake from their anchored boat Saturday morning, and attempted to swim to shore. The friend made it. McKenzie did not. His body was recovered Saturday afternoon.
