HOUSTON (AP) – A former prison guard has been sentenced to almost two years in federal prison for having sex with two inmates at a Central Texas federal prison camp.
James Graves was sentenced to 21 months in prison Thursday in Houston for his May 2 guilty plea to sexual abuse of a ward. U.S. District Judge Sim Lake also ordered 10 years of supervised release and registration as a sex offender for the 45-year-old former guard at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan.
Graves admitted to engaging in multiple sex acts with a female inmate on more than one occasion during the summer of 2014. He also admitted having sex with another female inmate.
