Waco (WBAP/KLIF) – Authorities in Blanco County have decided not to file charges in the case of a 12 year old Waco school girl who suffered rope burns on her neck while on a private school field trip. Investigators for the Blanco County Sheriff decided the injuries were accidental, and occurred while the girl and several others were playing on a rope swing attached to a tree. The girl was one of two black students on the field trip. Her parents filed suit against the Live Oak Classical School last month.
