DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Two on-duty police officers called into a podcast on the night of the deadly attack in downtown Dallas.
Officers Gregory Watkins and Margus McCuin joined the podcast “Your World, My View,” which is hosted by an Atlanta-based activist.
Five officers were killed in the ambush on July 7.
The two officers described the scene as “chaotic,” and called out police departments for hiring “cowards” in the wake of fatal officer-involved shootings across the country.
The Dallas Police Association said the officers’ views were not representative of the department’s.
An internal investigation is underway.
