San Antonio (WBAP/KLIF) – San Antonio Police are investigating a brutal case of child abuse. They have arrested 23 year old Kris Smith and her 33 year old boyfriend, Calvin Williams, for allegedly scalding Williams’ 3 year old son. They reportedly held the boy in a very hot shower, and covered his mouth so he couldn’t scream. He suffered third degree burns, but Smith and Williams didn’t seek treatment for his injuries for a week. Williams reportedly told police he didn’t want to take the child to an emergency room because he didn’t want to lose custody of him.
