FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – Hundreds of students, faculty and staff gathered on Paschal High School’s football field Thursday evening to remember 18-year-old Drew Medford. Medford died after he lost control of his car and hit a concrete barrier on the Chilsom Trail Parkway near the Interstate-20 exit early Thursday morning.
Medford had signed to play baseball at TCU this fall. His former high school coach said that Medford was so talented, he could have played in the major leagues one day.
His funeral will be held next week.
