IRVING (WBAP/KLIF News) – The father of the Irving High School student who was arrested for bringing what looked like a homemade bomb to school has filed a defamation lawsuit against some high profile members of the media.
TheBlaze, FOX, and Commentators Glenn Beck and Ben Ferguson are among those named in the suit which claims false and defamatory statements were made against the family.
Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne is also being sued.
Mohammed was arrested at school in Sept. 2015 after officials thought a box containing wires was a homemade bomb. It turned out to be a homemade clock.
It was not disclosed how much money the family is seeking.
