PLANO (WBAP/KLIF News) – A man who thought he was recording police brutality in Plano last week ended up helping the officer.
Andre Harvey said he captured the struggle between the detective and a man who had just run out of a 7-Eleven after allegedly stealing a charity donation jar.
When the detective started yelling for help, Harvey and another man rushed to help take down the suspect.
The detective bought the men lunch for their good deed.
