DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A judge in Dallas County awarded $50 million to the mother of a man who was pushed into a moving DART train in 2011.
He ruled that the four men who, as teenagers, killed Octavius Lanier during a robbery should pay the bill.
Takeysha Keys was seeking $20 million from DART and the men who attacked her son.
She alleged DART employees failed to do anything to stop the attack, and she cited other reports of robberies prior to her son’s death.
