FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – Police in Fort Worth said the skeletal remains found last week are those of a missing man from Benbrook.
The body of Chaney Hawthorne was found by kids in a wooded area southwest of town. The identification was made using dental records.
Hawthorne was reported missing Aug. 26.
Police have not said how he died, but they’re investigating it as a homicide.
