(WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Attorney General says a judge’s decision to keep a ban in place on the Obama Administration’s transgender guidelines for schools sends a clear message.
Attorney General Ken Paxton says he’s proud to lead a coalition of 13 states against President Barack Obama’s latest illegal federal overreach, as he put it.
A Texas judge reaffirmed a nationwide ban on the Obama Administration from relying on its guidance concerning access to bathrooms in public schools.
Paxton says Texas will not sit idly by as the president “continues to ignore the Constitution.”
The judge wrote that the original injunction does not affect a school’s obligation to investigate and remedy student complaints of sexual harassment, sex stereotyping and bullying.
