DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) A Dallas County judge slowed down the evictions of hundreds of West Dallas tenants. Dozens of people renting properties from landlord HMK Ltd packed a courtroom yesterday. Judge Ken Molberg gave them another two weeks in their homes. He said he doesn’t want tenants to be collateral damage in a political war. The man behind hmk sent letters to hundreds of tenants, telling them they were being evicted just weeks after Dallas announced the enforcement of stricter housing standards. Tenants say Kraish H. Kraish wants to bulldoze his properties rather than take the trouble to bring them up to code. A hearing is set for November 7th.
