Deputies Search for Murder Suspect

tony-vincent-novelloFORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding a convicted felon accused of shooting a man at an RV park early Tuesday morning.

It happened at the Hilltop RV Park on Jacksboro Highway. The victim was taken to the hospital but was dead on arrival.

The Tarrant County Sheriff Office’s Terry Grisham said Tony Vincent Novello is a dangerous graduate of the school of criminal behavior.

“When you’re that young and you go to a state penitentiary system and you’re also not a physically imposing-sized person you kind of have to get tough or die. So, he’s going to shoot first and ask questions later,” said Grisham.

He said Novello has a history of having a bad temper and is almost always armed. “I guess in some circles you could say he has kind of a macho short-man complex. He has to prove how he is tough at every turn. I think that is what he did yesterday morning,” said Grisham.

Novello was last seen driving a black 1990 Honda Accord with Texas plates HDM-3977.

If you see him or know where he is, call 911.
