DENTON (WBAP/KLIF) – Denton County has launched a new mass notification system.
The new system will provide emergency weather and other information via text, e-mail or phone call to subscribers.
“We’re really targeting our citizens that live in the unincorporated areas and some of our smaller municipalities that do not have a notification system,” said Denton County Emergency Services Chief Jody Gonzalez.
Gonzalez says they have alerted members of the old service to sign up to the new service.
