Price Presses for Case to be Dropped

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price has asked a federal judge to throw out his corruption case.

Prosecutors accused Price and two of his associates of running a scheme that took $950,000 in bribes over the past decade from businesses seeking county contracts or other approvals.

According to the Dallas Morning News, his attorney filed documents this week asking the court to toss the charges because there was no criminal intent, the searches were illegal and the legal deadline to bring the charges had passed.
