DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Early voting numbers in Dallas County have surpassed both 2008 and 2012 numbers.
Dallas County Elections Administrator Toni Pippins-Poole says those who want to participate in the final day of early voting Friday to look at some of the features on their website www.dallascountyvotes.org.
“We will also have indicators to let the voters know if there is a 40 minute wait at one location, or a 20 minute wait or greater than 40 minutes,” said Pippins-Poole. That way, she says, voters can pick another location if a first choice has long lines.
The early voting numbers do give election officials a good idea of what to expect come Election Day on Tuesday.
Voters who would rather vote on Election Day must vote at their assigned precinct.
