GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP/KLIF News) – Police in Grand Prairie arrested a suspect in a murder outside a convenience store.
Police arrested Mark Silva in the stabbing death of Nadia Gomez.
Gomez stumbled into the RNS Final Stop Store off of South Carrier Parkway Tuesday night with stab wounds to her chest and neck.
Before Silva’s arrest, investigators released surveillance video of the suspect’s white four-door Chevy Malibu and told the public Gomez knew her killer.
Investigators said they’re considering the crime a family violence offense.
Silva is charged with murder and is being held on a $500,000 bond at the Maverick County Sheriff’s Detention Facility in Eagle Pass.
