A $13,000 Reward Is Being Offered for Information in the Case of a Missing East Texas Girl

kayla-gomez-229x300BULLARD (WBAP/KLIF News) – A $13,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the safe return or whereabouts of 10-year-old Kayla Gomez-Orozco.

A Facebook post on the Help Find Kayla Gomez page is asking people to wear pink, her favorite color, today to show solidarity.

She vanished Tuesday night at the Bullard First Assembly Church in Cherokee County, just south of Tyler.

Since then, an Amber Alert has been issued and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has joined multiple law enforcement agencies in the search.

Gomez was last seen wearing a black “racquet and jog” t-shirt and a peach-colored skirt. She’s Hispanic, 4’00” tall, 90 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

FBI Agent Thomas Class said the case is being treated as a missing child but an abduction has not been ruled out.
