Dallas Officer Fired, Another Resigns

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A hearing into the inappropriate behavior of two Dallas police officers ended with one being fired and one resignation.

Police Senior Corporal Justin Shaffer was let go after he was investigated for lying about his work, providing inaccurate information during a Driving While Intoxicated arrest and harassing his ex-wife.

Officer Ricardo Solis allegedly approached two underage girls for sex while off-duty a year ago.

He resigned before his scheduled internal affairs hearing about the allegations.
