Retail Gasoline Prices Drop by 2 Cents Across Texas

COPPELL, Texas (AP) – Retail gasoline prices across Texas have dropped by 2 cents this week to reach a statewide average of $2.04 per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the nationwide price at the pump remains unchanged at $2.22 per gallon.

The AAA survey found that of the metro regions in Texas, drivers in Dallas are paying the most on average at $2.10, while motorists in Amarillo and Corpus Christi are paying the least at $1.95.

AAA says gas prices may fluctuate over the next month, rather than remain steady, in part because of ongoing regional refinery maintenance.
