DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas County saw record numbers in the early voting process over the past two weeks.
Dallas County Elections Administrator Toni Pippins-Poole says though the percentage of registered voters voting early was similar to 2008.
“548,707 have already voted in Dallas County,” said Pippins-Poole. “That represents about 42-percent of the registered voters.”
Tarrant County residents cast a record 515,000 votes and Collin County had nearly 302,000 early voters.
In Dallas County, there were over 100,000 new registered voters for this election cycle.
