Election Judge Found Dead in Home

Early Voting 2GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP/KLIF) – Voting hours have been extended until 9 PM at the Betty Womack Library in Grand Prairie. The decision was made after the polling place opened almost two hours late Tuesday morning due to the death of the election judge.

Gary Cox was found dead in his home. Officials say he died of natural causes and foul play is not suspected.

Several people lined up outside the library waiting for the doors to open. Some voters left before the new judge arrived.
