DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dozens of people marched through downtown Dallas Tuesday night in opposition to an oil pipeline in the Dakotas.
The Dakota Access Pipeline would bring oil from the Dakotas to Illinois. The oil could then be sent to refineries.
Protesters said the pipeline would disrupt Native American burial grounds and threaten drinking water.
Dallas-based Energy Transfer Partners is building the line.
The company wants a federal judge to block the EPA from stopping construction. It said only a court can end this political interference.
The Corps of Engineers said it needs more time to review the project.
