DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A local homeless advocate group will show Dallas business and community leaders what life is like for the homeless on Thursday night.
It’s part of the Promise House’s annual “Sleep Out,” which raises awareness and money for the homeless community.
Participants, who will sleep in the organization’s parking lot, pledged to raise at least $5,000.
According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development; even though homelessness has fallen 3% nationwide this year, Dallas saw a 21% increase.
