NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News) Several North Texas hotels are offering free rooms to some travelers this holiday season. Anyone who has friends or family hospitalized, in a nursing home, or in a treatment center will be able to stay free of charge at a TMI-owned hotel. The “Room at the Inn” program started back in 1988 and was created to help meet the needs of those who were separated from their loved ones because of health issues. A complete list of local participating hotels is below. Guests need to contact hotels directly to make a reservation. The rooms are available Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Day.
