FARMERS BRANCH (WBAP/KLIF News) – Brookhaven Community College was briefly put on lock down Tuesday morning because of an unidentified threat.
The school tweeted an alert around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
ALERT: Lockdown on campus. All outside doors are locked. No entry or exit into the building. If not at campus stay away.

A father of one of the students said his daughter texted him to say she was instructed to hide under her desk.
The school tweeted around 9:40 a.m. that the lock down was over and people could return to normal.
ALERT: Lockdown has ended. Normal activities may resume.
