FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Frisco City Council will vote on a controversial proposal for an Oncor substation Tuesday evening.
Residents had been battling the issue for months and say they’re concerned the facility will negatively affect their home values as well as it’s close proximity to Allen Elementary School.
The substation would benefit The Star complex and nearby businesses.
The Planning and Zoning Commission already rejected the proposal.
The 11-acre site is off of Legacy Road.
