WACO (WBAP/KLIF News) – An ex-Baylor employee is suing the university for retaliation.
Lyn Wheeler Kinyon’s federal Title IX lawsuit claims she was fired for reinstating a football player’s scholarship after it was wrongly revoked over unsubstantiated sexual assault allegations.
She said she was let go less than 5 months after the scholarship was reinstated.
According to reports, the football player she’s referring to is Baylor’s former Defensive Tackle Jeremy Faulk.
No criminal charges were filed against him.
Kinyon is one of many former employees and students to criticize the university’s handling of sexual assault claims.
