Police look for armed robbery suspect believed to be dangerousPosted on January 26, 2017 FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Fort Worth Police Department Robbery Unit is asking for help in identifying a robbery suspect who they consider to be armed and dangerous. Fort Worth Detective Brian Ransford says man is responsible for multiple armed robberies in the DFW area, all have taken place at cash advance businesses where the man pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded money. Ransford says they need to find him before he hurts someone. The first robbery took place on Dec. 19, at approximately 2:15 p.m., at an Advance America store, located at 9112 Camp Bowie West Blvd. He used a small black handgun. The suspect also robbed a cash loan business at 3206 Sycamore School Road and was seen running to a black four-door car. He’s a black male with a light complexion, 5 feet 5 – 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 25-30 years old, and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He has a goatee and was wearing a red ball cap and a light blue denim jacket during the Dec. 19th robbery. Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call Fort Worth Police at 817-392-4383.
