ISIS Targets Popular Dallas Church

fbdDALLAS (WBAP & KLIF News) — A propaganda magazine for ISIS has made mention of targeting a popular Dallas church.

The magazine Rumiyah mentions First Baptist Church of Dallas as “a popular crusader gathering place waiting to be burned down.” First Baptist is the home of Dr. Robert Jeffress, who led a service attended by President Donald Trump just before his inauguration last week.

The church says they are aware of the threat, but says after speaking with Dallas Police, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI, they’ve concluded the threat is not credible.

Church officials said in a statement, which can be seen below, the Lord has not given them a spirit of fear, and that surrendering to fear is a victory for ISIS.
