DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Former Dallas City Councilman Dwaine Caraway is asking voters for his old job back.
Caraway was term limited when he didn’t run two years ago but now is filing paperwork to again run for the District Four Dallas City Council seat.
Caraway, who briefly served as Dallas mayor, says from 2007 to 2015 there was progress in district four but that the ball has been dropped since he left.
He says he has seen steady decline, neglect and stagnate growth in economic development.
Caraway unsuccessfully ran against Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price in the democratic primary last year.
