Grand Prairie (WBAP/KLIF) – A Grand Prairie man who managed to get safely out of his burning house early Tuesday morning says he was saved by one of his cats. Reed McIntosh says the cat pawed at his face until he awoke, and realized his house was on fire. He got out safely, but his cats did not. All five of them died in the fire.
