Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas ISD teacher who was fired for being a porn star more than a decade ago is trying to get her job back. Resa Woodward is appealing her termination to the Texas Education Agency. She was a sixth-grade science teacher at Balch Springs Middle School, a position she now calls her “dream job.” Her appeal claims she was forced into the sex industry by a person she describes as “a controlling and manipulative man.” Woodward was hired by the Balch Springs school in 2014, and was considered by the administration to be a standout teacher. The Texas Education Agency says it is reviewing her appeal.
