Euless (WBAP/KLIF) – A 17 year old transgender boy from Euless has won the Texas State Girls Wrestling Championship. Mack Beggs is transitioning from female to male. Some of his female opponents have said the testosterone he’s been taking during that process gives him an unfair advantage in wrestling girls. Beggs and his family have agreed, and say he’d rather be facing boys, but state policy insists students must compete within the gender listed on their birth certificates.
