(WBAP/KLIF) β Senator John Cornyn says the US air strikes on Syria were more than just a response to the chemical attack.
He says they were also to send a strong message to the world that future chemical attacks will not be tolerated.
βIn addition to being a targeted attack to deter future use of chemical weapons in Syria, was also a message to rogue regimes like North Korea, Iran, to Putin and Russia,β Cornyn said.
Cornyn believes this is also an opportunity for President Donald Trump to work with Congress on coming up with a comprehensive strategy and to also get support from the American people.
