DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The City of Dallas, along with the Dallas County Elections Office and District Attorney, is investigating claims that mail-in ballots were sent to voters who did not request them.
Mayor Mike Rawlings said a solution is critical because every vote matters.
“Somebody might win by 20 votes or 40 votes or 120 votes and if something is not right and it is not being done according to Hoyle, we have got to make sure it is,” Rawlings said.
Rawlings says those who received an un-requested mail-in ballot can fill out a provisional ballot that would count in place of the mailed one for next month’s City Council elections.
