Four Teenagers Hurt in Ft. Worth Crash

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF News) – Four teenagers were hurt in a crash Friday morning in south Fort Worth. The crash, near Ft. Worth Can Academy, shut down Westcreek Drive for several hours.

“We’ve got a school right here,” said one woman who lives nearby. “People need to slow down. I think they need to put some speed humps out here because these kids are crossing the street and people come flying up the street all the time.”

Several people came out of their homes in the neighborhood near Altamesa and McCart, watching police investigate the crash. The crash occurred before 8 a.m. Friday.

MedStar says four teenagers went to JPS and Harris Methodist Southwest hospitals; two were in critical condition.

The school was not affected.
