City of Plano’s Service Center Recovering from Weekend Hail Storms

PLANO (WBAP/KLIF News) – The City of Plano is recovering from hail storms that ravaged parts of the city on Saturday.

The city’s Parkway Service Center on Plano Parkway was especially hit hard.

The hail damaged a large amount of equipment and hundreds of cars had their windshields busted out. That number includes 15 new police cars.

The city’s Steve Stoler said six trash routes are delayed until the truck’s windshields are replaced.

The hail also caused extensive damage to homeowners from Plano to Prosper.
