HOUSTON (WBAP/KLIF) – A doctor attending to Former President George H. W. Bush is hoping the former president will be released from the hospital this week.
Dr. Clint Doerr is a pulmonologist treating the 41st President of the United States. He said while President Bush has recovered from pneumonia, he continues to deal with chronic bronchitis which is a condition more prevalent with age.
They hope to release the 92-year-old Bush by the end of the week and continue aggressive respiratory treatments to help minimize the effects.
Bush’s son, Former President George W. Bush released a photo last week of himself next to his father who was lying in a hospital bed. Both men were smiling.
