Whose Fault is the Data Breach?

PLANO (WBAP/KLIF News) Following the crippling of computer networks around the world, we’re raising the question: just how much faith should we put into government agencies like the NSA? Kevin Mellott is the president of Erase Enterprises in Plano. He says there’s flaws in every system because people are still the ones running things behind the scenes. Mellott says it’s not the machines that are at fault, but rather the individuals behind them. Mellott also says a “kill switch” was built into the code in this particular ransomware program, implying the person responsible needed leverage, perhaps for political purposes.
